Had a really exciting day today…
Although am quite disappointed of still not being able to watch the ndp live this year… but I was already so close to watching it live… at least all the fireworks were just right in front of my eyes…
At around six something, we went to chop a good place at raffles city cartel in the hope of catching some good views of the fireworks… We ordered some finger food while we waited patiently for the ndp to start… its really great to able to enjoy some nice food n drinks while we sit back comfortably n enjoy the show… I guess even the audiences at Padang do not have such luxury…
Actually, wats so exciting abt the whole experience tonight is not really abt wat we see… but the process of trying to capture wat we see… it always started with some commotion in front… followed by everyone looking up the sky and eagerly taking their cameras out trying to capture wats up there. After a few seconds of excitement, everything will be back to normal, however everyone is still on the standby mood, getting prepared for the next shot which no one knows when it will be. It’s all these anticipation and uncertainty which makes it so exciting…
Guess it has been quite a while tat I had so much fun…
Below are some attempts to capture wat I saw tonight, not exactly fantastic shots, but for the benefits of those currently not in Singapore, hope its good enough to bring u some ndp atmosphere over here in Singapore…

Glad u had fun on ndp. Here in new york, the Contact S'pore organized a free dinner celebration for s'pore's national day.. so we and alot other s'poreans got to enjoy satay, char kuay teow, chicken rice for free! haha... :)
