家人的关怀...

那天跟老姐聊了好一会儿，她很关心我的头痛问题，也给了很多劝告。
健康比什么都重要，这我懂... 工作不是一切，这我也明白... 但要暂时的放下，似乎还有点困难...

昨天又收到我哥发来问候的简讯，感觉很窝心，但也很不好意思，因为也让他担心了...

我还真是个令人操心的大小孩... 唉...

another great day out with parents!

As CNY is drawing near, have brought my parents to 四马路 again to pray for the new year. As it was a weekday afternoon, there wasn’t too much of a crowd but I was quite surprise to see that there were actually quite a number of young people there making their offerings & drawing lots. Have always thought that praying in temple is something like an older generation kind of thing and younger generation like us are no longer so religious and devoted but I guess I am wrong.

Afterwhich, we went to shop around the area a bit before finally settling down for dinner and coffee at Bugis Junction. Am so happy today as I finally managed to get my mum to buy a new set of clothes for cny! You don’t know how difficult it is to get her new clothing and am really glad that she managed to find something she likes today. As for my dad, had wanted to get him another new shirt too but too bad he couldn’t find anything of his liking. But I guess it’s ok as I have already gotten him a new shirt for Christmas.

It’s been really a great day!

Sunday @ Changi Airport T3

It’s a Sunday spent with parents, brother, sis-in-law and little xuan xuan at the Changi Airport Terminal 3 Open House. First we had our lunch at the TCC at the Departure Hall (quite like the design of this new store with all the black chandeliers, and black spray painted metal motifs with green glass), and then we went around exploring the new terminal. Not much of a surprise in the design, except that it’s much more spacious and brighter than the other 2 terminals with all the backlit signage and interesting tilting louvers at the ceiling. Was actually quite disappointed by the fact that most of the retail shops and F&B stores were not open yet and most of them are all hoarded up with unfinished renovation work. So there’s actually not much you can do there except for viewing at the only airplane that’s parked there from the viewing gallery...

Nevertheless, it’s still quite a happy day spent with family... =)

小萱萱长大了...

昨天看到了老哥手机上的照片，才发现小萱萱其实已经长大了许多...

平凡就是快乐！

Brought my parents to 四马路 again today to make our offerings at the 观音堂, followed by some shopping of groceries at the market there. Just a simple day out with them, but gained so much happiness in return. 原来快乐可以如此简单！

bangladesh worker for 1 night...

Went to help my brother and sis-in-law with the moving of their house yesterday evening. Moving house is indeed not an easy task at all. Even though most of the boxes were being carried by my brother, and we only helped out with the smaller n lighter ones, we were all so tired out at the end of it. And as the van can only sit two persons in front, I actually had the honour to travel together with all the boxes and luggage at the back. Luckily the journey was not that long or else my butt would have gone all numb as I was only left with that tiny little bit of sitting space which does not allow me to change my sitting position at all. Nevertheless, it was still quite an experience, of being a bangladesh worker for 1 night!

小萱萱一岁了...

今天是个非常忙碌的一天因为是小萱萱的一岁生日。老哥的家都挤满了亲戚朋友，真的好热闹。时间真的过得很快，还记得一年前的今天大家都在医院迎接小宝宝的诞生，这么快她已经一岁了。为了让大家能够看到小萱萱这一年来的成长，我帮小萱萱重组了一断录相。在做这段录相时，才发现原来萱萱真的变了很多，也成长了很多，尤其是她的身高。还蛮怀念她以前的某些表情与动作，真的很可爱！可惜的是，这些都太短占了，应为宝宝的成长过程实在太快了，不时都在变。

今天又可说是个喜上加喜的日子，因为小萱萱的 birth cert 号码竟然开了三奖，大家都中了一点，而从没中过 4D 的大嫂更是格外的开心。还记得小萱萱满月的时候，这号码好像也开了安慰奖，小萱萱果然是个运才童子！

Merry Christmas!!!

It has been a really hectic week of shopping, shopping and more shopping. As I had started my Christmas shopping really late this year and there were so many gifts I need to get on my Christmas list, everything was so rush. So what happened was that I was practically walking everywhere searching for the right gifts for the right person and it definitely wasn’t easy, maybe because I tend to think too much, even when it comes to getting presents. But I am glad that I managed to get some nice gifts for my family and friends and I hope that they will like them. In return, I have also received some great gifts already and am definitely looking forward for more to come... hee =P

One sad thing is that I really didn’t have time to make Christmas cards this time round and so, I can only send my warmest wishes here...
