disappointing b’day eve...

Was supposed to be having dinner with my family tonight to celebrate my birthday as well as father’s day and I was actually quite looking forward to it. However, when I was told to rush some drawings out by today at 5pm something, I felt so sad and disappointed, really disappointed... There’s no way I can finish the drawings in time for the dinner and so, I have no choice but to give the dinner a miss. I do not want to be grumpy about work and I have always been trying to do things with a positive attitude, but in times like this, I can’t help but think that sometimes bosses are just asking for too much...

Just got to keep my fingers crossed that the same thing will not happen again tomorrow!
