Yes, I have safely survived my first week at the new workplace.
For the benefit of those who have yet to be told, my new office is actually located at one of those industrial area in the east side and it is a totally contrast to my previous workplace in Orchard Road. Originally, I was a little worried that I might not get used to the distance and condition of the workplace, but I think I have already sort of get used to it in this one week. And in fact, I think I quite like the serenity of the area in the morning and have quite enjoyed my daily walk to the office. The only bad thing is that I have to really look out for all the holes in the uneven ground to avoid falling and hitting onto those heavy vehicles parked along the roadside.

Work wise, I have already got some residential design work on hand and with the help of my colleague, I think I am slowly getting the hang of it. Still a bit slow, but I am happy that I am going somewhere and I must say that I quite enjoy the things I am doing now.
The people there are also quite nice, especially one of my colleagues who has helped me a lot in this one week and I have really learnt quite of bit of things from him.
On the whole, I think I quite like what I am doing now and it really feels good to be learning once again!
