scan。详细的医药报告还没出，不过初步的调查可能只是紧张和压力所造成的tension headache。这几天吃了药，头也好多了，没那么痛了。大家也应该可以放心点了...<br /><br />今天感觉还挺好的，也终于回返了gym，跑了一会儿，出了一身汗，真爽！<br /><br />不过，还得多加努力，才能把身子调养好... 加油啊！<br /></span></span></p><div Just like what the slogan says “run your own race”, we were both running our own race, challenging our own limits.<br /><br />10km really seems much longer than what we had expected and we were both struggling at the last few kilometers of the run, but am glad that we had each other around to motivate each other. Even though little was said during the run, I guess our presence for each other does make a difference. The happiest moment is definitely the point where we managed to dash through the finishing point hand-in-hand! A moment that I will remember for life! Thanks Kelly!<br /><br />Another great moment is seeing Liting finishes her 42km run. I must say that it’s really not easy, and am totally impressed with her endurance and perseverance! Never in my whole life have I managed to run so much. As it was a weekday afternoon, there wasn’t too much of a crowd but I was quite surprise to see that there were actually quite a number of young people there making their offerings &amp; drawing lots. Have always thought that praying in temple is something like an older generation kind of thing and younger generation like us are no longer so religious and devoted but I guess I am wrong.<br /><br />Afterwhich, we went to shop around the area a bit before finally settling down for dinner and coffee at Bugis Junction. Am so happy today as I finally managed to get my mum to buy a new set of clothes for cny! You don’t know how difficult it is to get her new clothing and am really glad that she managed to find something she likes today. As for my dad, had wanted to get him another new shirt too but too bad he couldn’t find anything of his liking. First we had our lunch at the TCC at the Departure Hall (quite like the design of this new store with all the black chandeliers, and black spray painted metal motifs with green glass), and then we went around exploring the new terminal. Not much of a surprise in the design, except that it’s much more spacious and brighter than the other 2 terminals with all the backlit signage and interesting tilting louvers at the ceiling. Was actually quite disappointed by the fact that most of the retail shops and F&amp;B stores were not open yet and most of them are all hoarded up with unfinished renovation work. Did not make much contribution to the charity per say as I went on a free ticket as given by my colleague. It was a pretty long show which lasted nearly 3 hours with different types of performances put up by people of different age groups ranging from small kids to uncles and aunties.<br /><br />About the show... well... the dances by the kids were really cute, the singing by the music school and the a-cappella group was great, the cantonese opera looks pretty convincing (just that I do not understand a single word at all and so I was actually a bit dozing off), as for the performances put up by the uncles and aunties, hmm... I shall reserve my comments on that.<br /><br />On the whole, I think I have quite enjoyed the show tonight, despite the small pockets of boredom in between. Have always wanted to do it again but it has never really been put into action all these while. Thus, when Liting asked about going to make a blood donation I agreed almost instantly.<br /><br />And so, we met up at Outram Mrt this afternoon together with 2 of her friends and proceeded to the Blood Bank. But guess what, only 2 of her friends managed to have their blood successfully donated, leaving Liting and me feeling so disappointed. The reason why Liting was being rejected is because of low iron level, whereas for me is because of my veins being too soft. And so, I was being asked to do more exercise for another 6-12 months to strengthen the veins before going back to try again. =(<br /><br />Sigh... 没想到做好事原来可以这么难，不是说有心就可以办到的... Not wanting to be in the same lift as him, I deliberately slowed down my pace and this actually turns out to be a really wise move! As I reached my block, the lift door had just closed. However, I soon realized that the lift wasn’t moving at all and the very next moment, I saw my neighbour inside trying to force open the door. Yah… that faulty lift is stuck again! Phew, luckily I wasn’t inside!! Now that my neighbour had already seen me, I cannot 见死不救 right?! So I quickly call for help lor and luckily help came pretty soon.<br /><br />So, I guess luck is turning for the better for ah keow, yah?!
