It has been a good 9 years since I last made a blood donation back in JC time (my first time too). Have always wanted to do it again but it has never really been put into action all these while. Thus, when Liting asked about going to make a blood donation I agreed almost instantly.
And so, we met up at Outram Mrt this afternoon together with 2 of her friends and proceeded to the Blood Bank. But guess what, only 2 of her friends managed to have their blood successfully donated, leaving Liting and me feeling so disappointed. The reason why Liting was being rejected is because of low iron level, whereas for me is because of my veins being too soft. And so, I was being asked to do more exercise for another 6-12 months to strengthen the veins before going back to try again. =(
Sigh... 没想到做好事原来可以这么难，不是说有心就可以办到的... Guess i will have to start excercising a bit more and try in another 6 months time?
