So I was trying to be a good girl today. I had previously promised my parents to bring them to 四马路观音堂 last Saturday, but due to my interview last Saturday, I had actually forgotten about it. So, I have decided that I should deliver my promise and bring them there today.
The first stop today is of cause the 观音堂. I knew that it would be crowded today but I didn’t expect it to be that crowded! So, we squeezed through our way to make some joss stick offerings and wishes for the family general well-being as well as to my new job. Maybe it is because I felt that my parents are really getting in the years, I had sincerely wished for their well-being today and hope that they will be in good health.
Our next destination is the Albert Centre Market. The place was also crowded with all the people making purchases of dried groceries. According to my mum, you can really get quite a good bargain here. So, we left that place with quite a big bag of dried groceries and you can really see the happy face on my mum.
After which, we shopped around that area for a while, stopping for some ice-cream and a simple dinner at Albert Centre there before making our way to my brother’s store for some coffee and desserts. And that also marks the last stop of today’s trip.
It has been quite an enjoyable day for me and I hope that my parents felt the same way too...
