A group of us had arranged to go cycling / blading at East Coast Park yesterday. (Actually there was only one person blading lah, the rest of us were all cycling.) By the time we arrived there, the place was already crowded with people, with lots of colourful tents already pitched along the beach and groups of people gathering almost everywhere.
The 2 hours of cycling has sent most of us down with aching arms and legs, but I felt that it was great! Cycling in the wind and plugging in to my mp3, it was simply such a great enjoyment, and definitely a great work out too.
Afterwhich, we went to marine parade for dinner, before proceeding to Cosy Bay area to catch the ndp fireworks. And as usual, the place was crowded with people, all ready for the fireworks. We quickly found a place to settle down and patiently waited. As I had already watched the fireworks at the ndp preview, I wasn’t really very fascinated by the fireworks this time round. But it still feels good to be there with everyone and enjoying that very moment, with all the “wahs” and “waos” when the fireworks were displayed.

After which comes the most difficult part of the whole event, which is evacuation. The whole area was basically jammed up with all the vehicles and people. We ended up walking to Katong Arang there for a drink as well as to rest our legs before heading towards bugis for some desserts.
And so, the tiring but fun day ended...
